What I Love to Do in Second Life (aka SL)

My passions during this mission include exploring beautiful realms, writing stories, and creating beautiful faerie and fantasy digital art inspired both by my wanderings and adventures in the realms of Second Life and by the spiritual, Law of Attraction teachings of Abraham-Hicks.

This art is created using the awesome virtual photography tools provided by the wonderful Firestorm Viewer, the app I use to play in Second Life. Some of the posts in my blog will be phototools tips, but if you are really interested in learning how to create beautiful digital art yourself using Firestorm’s virtual photography tools, do contact me in-world! I love to teach and am available for hire if you’d like photography lessons, a personal photoshoot by me, or a blog post including pics highlighting your beautiful sim or in-world event.

What I Love to Do in Real Life (aka RL)

In RL I love gardening, cooking delicious vegetarian and vegan meals, having fun exercising to Just Dance videos and sword-fighting games, watching movies, and playing with my darling furbabies.

Professionally, I am a freelance writer/editor, computer tutor, and marketing consultant. I teach people how to use their computers, organize and find their files, folders and downloads. I teach them how to do things like set up their own websites using DIY website builders like WordPress (my fave!), Weebly, Wix, GoDaddy and more, or how to open up their own free online shop on Zazzle and how to use Zazzle’s product design tools. Please do contact me via @GoddessWhispers.blog on Instagram if you’d like more info on any of these services 🙂 

A Store is Born!

This blog started out to be just something to do for fun, and it still is. But it is also becoming more, since I decided to give all the digital art I was creating just for fun a practical use too. How, you ask? By opening up online Goddess Whispers shops where folks who love faerie, fantasy and spiritually inspired art can purchase it on gifts, apparel, home decor and more, on prints and cards, and as super affordable digital art downloads. Btw, if you would like to see YOUR avi on any of these items, let me know. I would love to put your avi’s mug on your coffee mugs!

Hopefully, these shops will someday enable this virtual faerie to earn a real-life living doing what she loves to do best, create digital faerie and fantasy art and design pretty things.
